Emma Blackery announces debut album 'Villains'

Publish date: 2024-05-18

Emma Blackery has announced her highly anticipated debut album Villains.

The 11-track album will be released on August 31 through Emma’s own RWG Records label. Tracks include the previously released tea-sipping ‘Dirt’ and her most recent offering, ‘Agenda’.

Villains is set to be Emma’s most personal body of work yet, inspired by a period of reflection which saw the singer-songwriter go from “feeling so paranoid that I risked becoming a person I didn’t like, to letting go of all that hurt.” Emma added that “writing the album was so cathartic. Music is my therapy.”

Villains Tracklist

  • Villains Pt.1
  • Dirt
  • Agenda
  • Fake Friends
  • Icarus
  • Take Me Out
  • Petty
  • Third Eye
  • What I Felt With You
  • Burn The Witch
  • Villains Pt. 2
  • To coincide with the Villains album announcement, Emma has also released the music video for ‘Agenda’. Produced by Toby Scott (Little Mix, Girls Aloud, The Saturdays), ‘Agenda’ is a sassy anthem of self-confidence which encourages you to embrace your individuality.

Emma will also be heading out on a headline UK/Europe tour this October in support of the album. Kicking off in Oslo on October 4, she will visit cities including Stockholm, Amsterdam, Munich, Manchester, and Cardiff, before finishing off at London’s KOKO on October 25.
